Role definition

R&D Engineer for our Systems Department, reporting to the System Development Manager

Scope: Development, Engineering, Transfer from Development to Production, Perform Validation Tests, Take Part in the Planning and Execution of Experiments, Manage Subcontractors.

Responsibilities:

·        Assume responsibility for development features

·        Design and implementation of mechanisms of multidisciplinary systems

·        Leading design surveys

·        Modelling and drawing of product parts and assembly  

·        Strength calculations and analysis

·        Project management according to the company's procedures and international standards

·        Write product specifications

·        Maintain contact with external development bodies

·         ECO, BOM, transfer of all information from development to the various production factors

·        Heat transfer calculations and supporting simulations

·        Prototypes assembly

 

Job requirements

BS.c in Mechanical Engineering – Mandatory

Development experience in Solidworks - a must

At least 5 years of experience as Product designer – a must

Familiarity with motion components and technologies - motors, sensors, controllers, etc.

Experience in heat transfer and thermodynamics

Experience in managing / conducting experiments

Experience in working with subcontractors

English at a very good level
